At Silverthorpe and Daughters we have carefully designed our packaging to ensure it can either be re-used of recycled (and in most cases, both). We hand-make many of our envelopes from recycled cardstock and don't use disposable plastic to package or store our items.

Crystals usually arrive in a handmade cotton bag made which has been made from vintage recycled cotton and screen printed by us using water-based inks. They are then wrapped in recycled brown paper and sealed with a paper label to ensure that everything can be recycled afterwards.

Jewellery often comes in a reusable cardboard box or envelope that can also be recycled at the end of its life. Any tape, bubble wrap or jiffy bags used are always the biodegradable version (although we try to avoid the latter two altogether).
